- How the fee is figured
- First registration tax is based on list price brackets. The second, third and fourth and later registrations are each 90% of the previous one.1
- Electric vehicle fee
- Electric vehicles 8,000 lbs. or less add $100.00, plus $5.00 per cent of gas tax above 19 cents. Plug-in hybrids add $30.00 plus $2.50 per cent.1
